This tune reminds me of the true joy I experienced making music when I was really young. It’s a feeling I don’t get often enough. I forget what it’s about sometimes. I often make music because I know it’s important, but it’s a whole other thing to find a song that links me right through all the years back to that original feeling.
These guys got to share that feeling with stadiums. I can only imagine what that must have been like every night.
I suppose the dream gets tainted for everyone as life responsibilities, age, and other things creep in. But when I listen to songs like this, I wipe all that away. This is the pure joy of rock music pure uncut. There’s so much musicality here with such a low fi purity. They do everything here with their feet and hands and voices. Just hitting the right notes over and over again.
